Yesterday, in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro, a workshop was held at our office on the topic “TOWARDS THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NEW LAW ON COMPANIES.” The speakers at the workshop were our colleagues Dijana Raickovic and Bojana Nikcevic, and the aim of the workshop was to familiarize participants with the key novelties introduced by the new Law on Companies, as well as to understand its connection with EU law and its significance for court practice in commercial disputes, particularly in the areas of corporate governance, directors’ liability, and liquidation procedures. The discussion was, as expected, dynamic given the complexity of this regulation, and the participants were highly interested in this currently very relevant topic.
